First Day

Well, you hear it all the time, life is what we make of it! One of my goals for 2012 is to realize all the JOY that surrounds me (but sometimes I get too busy or overwhelmed to appreciate it). I'll have to admit I was not off to a great start yesterday. I had 25 final projects to grade, but didn't get around to them until Saturday. As I spent much of Saturday and all of yesterday grading them, I started to focus on the drudgery and that isn't very joyful. BUT then, I realized, I was enjoying reading through the process and watching the movies andI was learning something too. That is something to be joyous about!
